Analysis of 2 Title sequences

Skyfall(2012)

During the opening Sequence of the 2012 movie Skyfall we see James Bond and this sequence introduces us to the actor who plays him which is Daniel Craig, It also introduces us to the production company Albert R. Broccolis Eon Production LTD. After these two things are shown it then leads on to show the title of the movie 'Skyfall' in bold writing to attract it's importance. It then follows on with the rest of the cast after Daniel Craig, then it shows the editors and the assistant producers and the rest of production team.

The sequence itself shows the importance of the character shown in many different situations and things happening in the background to highlight the action that will be portrayed in the movie and the characters significance towards the action, it also gives away how violent the film will be based on the images of fighting and the weapons shown. This to some viewers will attract them if they're interested in those sort of things that's why it gives an insight to what the movie will be about.

Alien3(1992)

During the opening sequence of the 1992 movie Alien we first see the company that made the movie which happens to be 20th century Fox, then showing us that it is a Brandy Wine Production and then introduces us to the main actress Sigourney Weaver highlighting the characters she is going playing's significance to the audience. It Is then followed by the main title Alien 3 with sort of horror themed music in the background. The sequence then goes on to show the  rest of the cast and the rest of the production team and there roles.

The sequence itself shows the first background mage to see to be of the main character showing their significance and it then goes on to show others parts of the movie such as space and the ship they're on showing that it is of the science fiction genre.
