Analysis of 2 opening sequences

Skyfall (2012)

In the opening sequence for skyfall it shows the audience:

the production company (Albert R. Broccolis Eon Production

ltd), the follwed by the lead actor ( Daniel Craig),  then it leads

onto the title of the film. The from there the rest of the production

crew such as the casting people, editors, assistant producers ect.

While we see the cast and crew. The background is showing different places and different things happen. We see Daniel Craig as the only person in the sequence so we know that the film is going to be mostly about him and he will be the main character. We also know this will be a Violet film as throughout the sequence we see different weapons  such as hand guns and knives. We all see a lot of blood which could reference to the fact that there will be a lot of deaths in the film.

This opening sequence gives an insight to what might happen in the film. so the audience tries to guess what could be coming up and what that might involve.

Captain America (2011)

In the opening sequence for Captain America it shows the audience:

the directors name ( Joe Johnson), then  the screenplay writers,
then the producers, Executive producers, we see editors and costume
designs and visual effects ect, we then see after all the crew the main 
actor ( Chris Evans, Tommy Lee, ect),  Then see the production 
companies, then the name of the film.

While these are coming up in the background we can see different war poster that were used during world war 2. So it shows people 
what time period the film is and give the audience and idea of what could be happening in the film.
