Day 3 of filming- Location

Location

On our third and what we believed to be our last day of filming we decided that in order to fit the stereotypes of secondary schools we had to at least get some shots of the actual school so that is what we did, we filmed the journey of the main character travelling from school all the way to his home estate which is shot in present day.

As his journey continues we're shown flashbacks of what he has had to deal with as a teenager at school and in our last scene we see the main character walk into a lift and turn showing the effects of the bullying he has been through. Our last scene was shot in an lift which came with some problems especially when it came to members of the public getting in our shot

Day 2 of filming- Location

Location

On our second day of filming we changed location to an estate where we filmed our second flashback scene, unfortunately due to the whether and certain risk assessments we had to take short breaks in between each of our scenes for the safety of the equipment

The reason we chose an estate as our second location was because we believed that it fit the stereotypes we were trying to portray, and we didn't need any permission to film there which made it easy on us and our time keeping and planning

The weather

The weather seemed to have a big impact with our filming. Due to it snowing on Tuesday we were unable to film as most of our filming was outside.  Because of this,we had our change our schedule around and now try filming most of the film on Thursday and Friday as we are running out of time to film. We have to make sure the weather conditions are good because we have to think of the risk involved such as the equipment getting wet or broken.

Furthermore, if the weather locations still remain bad then we have to find an alternative location such as filming indoors (such as someone's house or a building,) Also, we can prevent the weather ruining the equipment by using an umbrella to protect it so it wont get damaged.

How i found filming and editing so far

As a group we have just finished a rough cut of our title sequence. Of course there are improvements and developments to be still made. Such as using a tripod in all our shots to prevent shaky footage and including a copyright sound track that will make our title sequence more dramatic and memorable to watch.

The process to make our title sequence we had to go through several technology to improve and enhance the quality of our title sequence such as:

Moreover, I also found it changeling as many of the technology we have to include is new to me also the process of it all is quite time consuming. However, by all our effort it will help the final edit of our title sequence.
Nevertheless, I overall found the whole process of editing and filming enjoyable with my group as we leant various of new technology, filming and editing skills.

Experience on Garage band

As a pair we attempted to create a sound track for our title sequence by using garage band clip grabs. We first played around with the instruments on garage band and decided which instruments would be appropriate and suitable for our title sequence. We combined several instruments together on garage band like bass and drums to give a final products that we can later on add in to our title sequence.

After we chose the basic instruments that will be in the background of the song, we then chose a song that will match the plot of out title sequence. We downloaded the certain song by clip grab them imported it on Garage band. Afterwards we then merged and joined the two extract that will be included in the sound track together to create a final piece.
