Editing
These are the stages we had to go through in the process of editing the opening sequence...
First we had to gather all the footage that we had filmed using the video drive (even the footage that we filmed more than one). Using final cut pro, we then went through every single footage and deleted the ones that weren't necessary and weren't going to be used. After, we put all the final footage that we were going to use together as a rough copy. We then realised that most of the footage was shaky and did not look professional. As a result we had to re-film some of the footage. We had to make sure that this time around the image was not shaky therefore we used a tripod.
The footage was much better the second time around as they weren't shaky and the footages moved seamlessly into one another. We also added more location shots to establish where Tom is from and where we were filming. The next blog post will be our rough copy, there is still a lot to be done such as adding title credits, sound and transitions.
